Banana Nut Butter Smoothie

                           Banana Nut Butter Smoothie


  • 1 Fresh, frozen banana ( see tip below)
  • 2 TBS nut butter of choice ( peanut butter, almond butter, etc)
  • 2-3 cups of almond milk ( any nut milk or dairy can be substituted)
  • 1 cup uncooked oats
  • Dash of cinnamon ( and nutmeg is great too)

Blend all ingredients and enjoy!  Great for weekday breakfasts, on the go or after a workout.









* Prep Technique Tip-  To freeze- Use bananas that are ripe, peel and place in an airtight container then freeze. This will make your blended smoothie creamy. Fresh, frozen bananas are a great base for many smoothie varieties. Keep them on hand in your freezer*
