Scotch Crescent Cookies

-1/4 lb butter

-3/4 chopped nuts ( walnuts or pecans)

-1 tsp vanilla

- 1 cup flour

- 4 TBS confectioners sugar

 

With a mixer, cream butter with sugar, add vanilla.  Add flour and mix well. Fold in nuts.  On a parchment lined baking sheet. Form a tablespoon of dough into a crescent shape. Bake at 350F for 12-15 minutes. Cool and then dust with confectioners sugar. GeeGee's tip: Place 1/2 cup of additional confectioner sugar in a small paper or ziplock bag. Add cooled cookies and gently shake to coat with confectioner sugar.
