These vanilla buttercream cupcakes are fitting for any occasion patriotic occasion. Decorate with mini flags or use berries to create your own fruit flag.

3. Add the milk, vegetable oil, vanilla extract and eggs to a medium sized bowl and combine.
4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and beat until well combined.
5. Slowly add the water to the batter and mix on low speed until well combined. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed to make sure everything is well combined. Please note that the batter will be very thin.
6. Fill the cupcake liners about half way and bake for 15-17 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
7. Remove the cupcakes from oven and allow to cool for 2 minutes, then remove to a cooling rack to finish cooling.

Ingredients:
- 3 cups confectioners sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 or 2 TBS whipping creram
Method:
Use stand mixer with whisk attachment, mix sugar and butter on low speed until blended. Increase speed to medium for another few minutes. Add vanilla and whipping cream to mixture on medium speed for another minute until frosting is ready.
Pipe frosting onto cooled cupcake using a pastry bag and your favorite tip. Decorate as desired with a flag, sprinkles or create your own fruit flag using strawberries, blueberries and raspberries. ❤️🤍💙
